I am a writer who has a passion for books. You might think that such a statement is rather redundant, but it is needed in way of explanation for the books I am going to be covering here. The unloved, ignored and downright obscure paperbacks from a bygone age will be thrown into the light for readers and cultural observers to (hopefully) take notice of them again.
There isn’t much I will turn my nose up at, but I’ll mainly be looking at the lesser titles. I have a soft spot for the underdogs, and there are many wonderful gems hidden amongst the second-hand and vintage catalogues. Any feedback, both positive and critical, is welcomed, as is any counterpoints to the views made in my reviews.
